Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SlashHash Platform, including our Website and App (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Us

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform as a candidate seeking job opportunities ("Candidate", "you"), you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Platform immediately.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age in your country).

4. Account Registration & Profile

One account per candidate only.
All information must be accurate and complete.
Providing false information or impersonating someone else may result in account suspension or termination.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Keep login credentials confidential.
Configure your device, browser, and software to access the Platform; use your own virus protection.

5. Candidate Content & AI Features

Content you upload (CVs, messages, profiles) is non-confidential and non-proprietary.
You grant SlashHash B.V. a limited license to use, store, and process content for Platform services.
AI features provide informational guidance only.
AI data is encrypted, stored in the EU, and not used for training external models.
We are not responsible for the accuracy or suitability of AI recommendations or job listings.
You are responsible for backing up your content; data is stored only per our retention policy.

6. Messaging & Notifications

You may receive messages or notifications from the Platform related to job applications or AI guidance.
These are courtesy notifications; delivery, timing, or receipt are not guaranteed.

7. Intellectual Property

All Platform content (text, graphics, software, job listings, logos, etc.) is owned or licensed by SlashHash B.V.
Download or print content for personal use only.
Commercial use, copying, or redistribution requires written permission.

8. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Activities

You must not:

Introduce viruses, malware, or malicious scripts.
Attempt unauthorized access to the Platform, servers, or databases.
Misuse the Platform in any way that harms or disrupts others.
Upload content that violates our Acceptable Use standards.

8a. Prohibited Commercial Use

The Platform is strictly for personal use by candidates seeking employment. You may not use the Platform for any commercial purpose, including but not limited to:

Recruiters, staffing agencies, or organizations searching for candidates.
Companies or individuals collecting candidate data for business, marketing, or hiring purposes.
Any activity that monetizes, resells, or redistributes Platform content.

Violation of this restriction may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Only foreseeable losses caused by our negligence are covered.
Platform is for personal use only; commercial or business-related losses are not covered.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations, including prohibited commercial use.
You may delete your account at any time; all encryption keys will be destroyed, making your data permanently inaccessible.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, cyberattacks, or government actions.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, with disputes resolved by competent courts in the Netherlands.

13. Privacy & Cookies

Use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which describe how we collect, store, encrypt, and process your data.
