Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead financial accounting operations, ensuring accuracy of the general ledger, timely completion of reconciliations, and adherence to month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing timetables.
  • •Partner with Shared Services teams (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general accounting) to ensure accurate transaction processing, resolve issues promptly, and drive continuous process improvements.
  • •Prepare and review financial reporting, including cash flow forecasts, management reports, workers compensation reporting, statutory accounts, and documentation for internal and external audits.
  • •Prepare and review compliance activities, including SOX controls, GST, income tax, FBT, withholding tax and small business payment reporting in collaboration with external advisors.
  • •Manage key administrative and governance processes, such as corporate card and expense management, approvals matrix administration, insurance renewals, and oversight of debtor/creditor positions to support strong working capital controls.
  • •Act as a finance business partner, collaborating with customer, global finance and NZ teams to improve claim processes, support operational decision‑making, and deliver ad‑hoc analysis and projects.
