Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage the Legal team to deliver high-quality legal support across the group
•Oversee the drafting, review, negotiation, and management of commercial agreements, ensuring contractual arrangements adequately protect the company's interests and mitigate legal risks
•Provide legal advice on financial services laws and regulations, including derivatives trading, financial promotions, client money rules, AML/CTF, and consumer protection requirements
•Identify and manage legal risks associated with the company's operations and strategic initiatives
•Manage disputes, litigation, and regulatory matters, coordinating with external counsel where necessary
•Provide legal support for licensing applications, renewals, and other interactions with financial regulatory bodies
•Act as the key point of contact for legal matters across departments, including Sales, Marketing, Back Office, and Human Resources
•Liaise with external legal counsel, regulators, and other stakeholders to obtain and control legal budgets and ensure efficient use of external counsel
