Key Responsibilities

•Create programs and spaces that help children and youth feel connected, valued and encouraged in their spiritual journey
•Provide pastoral care to young people and families including support through COACH and Positive Lifestyle Programs
•Build relationships through school engagement and community-based ministry
•Facilitate after school and evening youth programs including sessions such as 4pm to 8pm
•Plan and prepare ministry content that is relevant, engaging and age appropriate
•Recruit, train and support volunteers and emerging leaders
•Maintain accurate records including attendance, Safeguarding, SAMIS and other reporting requirements
•Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture
•Participate in Sunday morning worship as part of the congregation and facilitate children’s and youth activities in that space
•Ensure safe ministry practices and uphold TSA safeguarding and WHS requirements
