Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking basic repairs to building, equipment and assets and similar items not calling for trade’s skills or knowledge
- Carrying out physical inspections of property and premises, assets and equipment, safety and compliance
- Providing support to line manager to achieve quality, efficient and effective output by contractors dealing with property and asset related service delivery
- Ensuring all essential safety requirements including fire safety, electrical and other legislative tasks are carried out in accordance with standards, policies, and legislation
- Ensuring corrective and preventative maintenance activities are completed as scheduled and within required time frames
- Maintaining a safe and aesthetically pleasant environment for all residents, visitors, and staff
- Acting as a role model in promoting The Salvation Army Aged Care Vision, Mission and Values
