Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of accounting policies and financial controls
- Draft technical accounting papers for the Audit & Risk Committee and Board
- Provide expert technical accounting advice on AASB/IFRS matters
- Prepare and review complex balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances
- Own group consolidation and financial statement preparation
- Partner with auditors and support Audit & Risk Committee reporting
- Drive process improvements and strengthen the financial control framework
- Design and implement best practice accounting processes across the business
- Support balance sheet budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Conduct financial risk assessments and provide insights to senior leadership
