Key Responsibilities

•Undertake all planned maintenance activities on automated sortation systems and freight-handling equipment, including preventative, predictive, corrective, and project-related engineering works.
•Rapidly identify and rectify mechanical or automation faults during unforeseen breakdowns to minimise downtime.
•Ensure critical system components are repaired promptly to maintain operational continuity.
•Ensure strict adherence to maintenance schedules and best-practice maintenance procedures.
•Effectively utilise and maintain the Computerised Maintenance Management System (MEX), ensuring accurate recording of work orders and maintenance activities.
•Maintain critical spare parts in an organised and readily accessible manner.
•Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in safe working order.
•Support operational personnel in the correct usage and care of systems and equipment.
•Maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with peers, supervisors, and operational teams.
•Contribute to project engineering activities, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
