Key Responsibilities

•Managing end-to-end financial accounting across the consolidated entity, including income statement and balance sheet accounts, with responsibility for revenue, OPEX, fixed assets, prepayments, and intercompany transfers.
•Processing month-end journals and actively driving the timely and accurate completion of month-end close procedures.
•Preparing robust and insightful financial reports for internal stakeholders, including monthly management accounts and cash flow statements, to support strategic decision-making.
•Collaborating effectively with external auditors and tax advisors, providing necessary documentation and support to ensure compliance.
•Owning the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
•Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts and working closely with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance and the timely delivery of all reporting obligations.
•Collaborating with commercial stakeholders to provide relevant financial analysis and help the business understand its financial performance.
•Working collaboratively with other Accountants to manage and support the accounting team, contributing to a high-performing and cohesive finance function.
•Providing guidance, mentoring, and day-to-day oversight to junior members of the accounting team, fostering their professional development and ensuring quality of work.
•Contributing to the training and continued knowledge sharing amongst team members.
•Proactively identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement, standardisation, and automation within the finance function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
•Contributing to wider finance team projects, including system migrations, ERP enhancements, and other transformation initiatives.
•Ensuring adherence to and documentation of internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
