Key Responsibilities
- Take a mature approach to design work with consideration of marketing, patients, human factors, therapy performance, environmental factors and design for manufacturing
- Take responsibility for component development with holistic view of impact on end users
- Understand, assess and mitigate risks through processes such as DFMEA
- Build prototypes using additive manufacturing and hand tools
- Design and perform verification and validation tests for products
- Solve design problems using analysis and empirical methods
- Assess and communicate impact of issues to internal customers
- Document development and testing of designs completely and accurately
- Work within regulatory requirements such as ISO, FDA and ResMed's Quality Management System
- Operate with high autonomy while interacting effectively with team members and other business areas
