Key Responsibilities
- Detailed accounting research and consultation with stakeholders on complex accounting technical matters
- Preparation of accounting papers on key accounting matters and transactions impacting the Group
- Partnering with the Technical Accounting Manager and the Business to identify key accounting matters and propose the appropriate accounting treatment
- Actively involved in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards and interpretations
- Preparation of Audit Committee Papers detailing accounting transactions and their impact on the Group
- Preparation of training materials and assistance in delivery of accounting training to the Group
- Assist in the provision of accounting advisory services support to the Business Units across the Group
- Completion of ad hoc projects as instructed by the Technical Accounting Manager
- Working with the Group External Reporting Manager as part of delivering the Group's external financial reporting requirements
- Working with the Group Consolidation Manager as part of month-end to monitor and improve segment consolidation processes
