Key Responsibilities
- Drive new development projects (NPI, Materials and Special).
- Coordinate project manage all related product development activities from design to industrialization.
- Collaborate with global R&D teams to technology transfer new products and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with process engineering to define process variables and conduct trials on production lines.
- Raise awareness of new testing requirements for production.
- Track new products sales volumes using Accolade and Qliksense.
- Manage yearly R&D Tax claim activities by providing technical explanation and costs.
- Drive Design to Cost, Simplification and CSI projects.
- Assist with development and introduction of new materials.
- Support Sustainability focused development.
- Assist Cable Design with new product enquiries/tenders.
- Participate in Product Council meetings with project updates.
- Provide support to Process Engineering/Production/Quality Departments.
- Support Commercial Department by developing cable installation/preparation documentation.
