Key Responsibilities

• •Design secure cloud architectures including IAM, network security, encryption, and data protection across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• •Implement zero-trust models, multi-factor authentication, and secure API gateways.
• •Implement data pipelines using IaaS best practices.
• •Own security for infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• •Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits on cloud resources.
• •Set up monitoring with SIEM, intrusion detection, and cloud-native tools (e.g., AWS GuardDuty, Azure Security Center).
• •Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• •Define and monitor SLIs/SLOs for security operations.
• •Secure containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
• •Optimize security for hybrid and multi-cloud setups with cost controls and resource isolation.
• •Own security automation, including firewalls, VPNs, WAFs, and endpoint protection.
• •Create templates and documentation to promote secure development practices.
• •Establish DevSecOps best practices and guide teams in their adoption.
• •Support security training and awareness programs when needed.
• •Focus on enabling development teams rather than blocking them.
• •Collaborative approach to work across 4 development teams.
• •Drive security automation to reduce operational burden.
• •As needed, develop and enforce security policies aligned with regulations like GDPR, PCI-DSS, and ISO 2700.
• •Manage compliance auditing, risk assessments, and reporting.
• •Implement controls for data sovereignty, privacy and access management
