Key Responsibilities
- Lead the team of ±10 mechanical engineers regarding performance, recruitment, capacity overview and other related leadership responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical solutions from concept phase to production
- Contribute to collaborative product designs within multidisciplinary project teams
- Create designs that balance performance, cost, manufacturability, and reliability
- Actively align with manufacturing, sourcing, and other stakeholders that interface with R&D
- Perform and support root-cause analysis, testing, and design optimization
- Take ownership in design discussions and provide well-founded technical pushback when needed
- Contribute to continuous improvement of existing products (LCM) and new developments (NPI)
