Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety & Wellbeing assurance framework
- Provide independent assurance on the effectiveness of WHS systems, controls and critical risk practices
- Coordinate and deliver internal and external safety audits, including regulator and certification audits
- Conduct first-line assurance activities and support the close-out of non-conformities
- Support second- and third-line assurance activities across sites and transport operations
- Prepare clear, high-quality assurance reports for senior leadership, Risk & Audit Committee and Board
- Track management actions arising from assurance reviews and monitor completion
- Support the development and delivery of the Group Risk Management framework
- Partner with Woolworths Group to align safety assurance frameworks where appropriate
- Represent Petstock Group in Woolworths Group projects and cross-functional squads
- Provide coaching, guidance and education to uplift assurance, risk and system-thinking capability
- Act as a subject matter expert in assurance methodologies, governance frameworks and control design
