Key Responsibilities
- Drive the corporate strategy cycle, leading market analysis, shaping strategic plans, and converting strategy into concrete, high-impact initiatives.
- Lead and orchestrate cross-functional strategic programs that accelerate Vanderlande’s long-term growth and strengthen its competitive position.
- Deliver sharp strategic insights and decisive recommendations to senior leadership and executive management.
- Own and drive the execution of critical transformation initiatives across business units and regions.
- Conduct market, competitive, and financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop business cases, scenario analyses, and strategic roadmaps for new growth initiatives.
- Provide structured insights and recommendations to leadership on portfolio optimization and strategic investments.
- Support selected transaction-related activities, with a primary focus on carve-outs and post-merger integration initiatives.
- Help structure and coordinate integration programs to ensure smooth transitions and value realization.
- Contribute to transaction preparation and evaluation when relevant, supporting business case development and strategic assessment.
- Work closely with senior leaders across business units, functions, and regions to drive alignment and successful execution of strategic initiatives.
- Act as a trusted partner to management by providing structured thinking, clear analysis, and pragmatic solutions.
- Facilitate collaboration across teams to ensure effective implementation of strategic programs.
- Monitor progress of strategic initiatives and ensure delivery of targeted business outcomes.
- Introduce best practices in strategy development, program management, and integration execution.
- Drive a culture of structured problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
