Key Responsibilities
- Identify and communicate relevant funding opportunities to researchers.
- Advise researchers on European, national, and international collaborative funding programmes.
- Support the preparation and submission of collaborative grant applications.
- Coordinate complex consortium proposals involving multiple international partners.
- Assist with proposal planning, timelines, budget development, and administrative requirements.
- Review funding guidelines and ensure compliance with sponsor requirements.
- Facilitate communication between researchers, partners, and central university services during the proposal phase.
- Support the administrative and financial management of awarded projects.
- Monitor project progress, deliverables, milestones, and reporting obligations.
- Advise project teams on grant agreements, consortium agreements, and funding regulations.
- Coordinate project amendments and communication with funding agencies where required.
- Support financial reporting and audit preparation in collaboration with finance colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and funder requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of research support services and procedures.
- Organize information sessions and workshops on collaborative research funding opportunities.
- Monitor developments in national and European research funding and translate them into opportunities for SBE researchers.
- Build and maintain a strong network with internal and external stakeholders.
