Key Responsibilities
- Advise on interpretation of the EU AI Act and Platform Work Directive, driving regulatory compliance.
- Monitor pending legislation across EMEA and work with Public Policy team.
- Provide product counseling for EMEA product launches, including advice to Amsterdam engineering team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to review product specifications and identify legal issues.
- Provide pragmatic advice and risk mitigation recommendations.
- Lead development of legal guidelines, checklists, and controls for AI products.
- Work with external legal counsel and technical experts.
- Collaborate with other legal teams (Privacy, Cybersecurity, Employment, etc.).
- Be an active business partner to leaders and stakeholders.
- Communicate and collaborate to support a high-performing team.
