Key Responsibilities

•Ownership of research direction across one or more product domains, identifying critical knowledge gaps and translating them into research questions and study plans
•Design and execution of complex qualitative and quantitative research independently, helping product teams understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points before solutions are defined
•Synthesis of insights across multiple studies and sources to identify broader patterns and strategic product opportunities
•Bringing clarity to the decisions that teams and leadership are making, ensuring they are grounded in strong evidence and a clear reading of the trade-offs
•Translation of findings into clear, actionable recommendations that reveal patterns and shape product direction
•Collaboration with relevant product teams and management on research implications and decision trade-offs, aligning research across the product domain, and navigating competing stakeholder priorities
•Feedback to junior researchers and other product colleagues (designers or Product Managers), reviewing their work for quality
•Improvement of research practices, standards, and ResearchOps activities within the team
•Evaluation and application of new research methods and AI-supported research techniques responsibly
•Regular engagement with stakeholders across product, design, and leadership to communicate findings and build organizational research maturity
