Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, adapt and maintain patterns from design sketches, reference garments, approved blocks and technical specifications.
  • •Maintain approved block libraries and associated version control.
  • •Support the development of new seasonal silhouettes by translating design direction into pattern solutions.
  • •Prepare for and participate in fit sessions with Design, Merchandising and Product Development.
  • •Document fit decisions and comments accurately, implement agreed pattern amendments and maintain traceability.
  • •Analyze and resolve straightforward fit and pattern issues using established methods.
  • •Consider the impact of pattern changes on garment construction, sizing, fabric behavior and supplier capability.
  • •Partner with Product Development, Supply Chain, suppliers and Quality Assurance to communicate pattern and fit requirements.
  • •Maintain complete, accurate and timely information in the Product Lifecycle Management system.
  • •Independently manage and regularly reassess assigned pattern, sample and fit priorities against the seasonal critical path.
  • •Support sample readiness, fit-session preparation, technical analysis and reporting.
