Key Responsibilities

•Provide independent cost estimates, covering Industrial Cost Point Estimate for Phase B2, C/D, E1, launch cost, operations cost, ESA internal cost, and risk margins.
•Provide cost estimate templates for Industry as part of study deliverables.
•Support analyses of cost estimates prepared by Industry as an expert.
•Provide ad-hoc analysis in support of Tender Evaluations and Negotiations.
•Support studies, projects, and project reviews with cost estimate tools, databases, and benchmarks.
•Develop and maintain cost databases and tools.
•Contribute to the promotion of cost estimating and cost engineering across the Agency and its partners.
•Support the capture and dissemination of knowledge and lessons learned on cost estimating.
•Contribute to gathering and organizing cost data and transforming it into usable formats.
•Support exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends.
•Participate in building predictive cost models and validating their performance.
•Create visual representations of data for stakeholders.
•Contribute to technology development and work plans for ESA's technology programmes related to data science.
•Contribute to the capture of knowledge related to information factories.
