•Partner with Product Leadership to translate strategic priorities into a roadmap for Design & Research.
•Set a clear vision for the design and research function.
•Raise design and research maturity through constructive critique and quality oversight.
•Create space for foundational initiatives like evolving the component library into a design system.
•Set strategic direction for AI in design & research workflow.
•Foster a culture of AI integration in product work.
•Ensure designers and researchers shape product and AI direction grounded in user insight.
•Advocate for Design Thinking throughout the product life cycle.
•Identify large strategic UX opportunities across the product.
•Navigate competing priorities to keep the team focused on high-impact work.
•Provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback through one-to-ones.
•Build career frameworks and progression paths for Design and Research.
