Key Responsibilities

•Own and execute sourcing strategies for mechatronics, precision metals, and electromechanical assemblies.
•Partner with Mechanical and Electromechanical Engineers during early design phases, advising on DFM, lead times, and cost structures.
•Build deep, trust-based relationships with key global suppliers and European partners, implementing SLAs to monitor OTIF and quality metrics.
•Identify potential material shortages and single-source risks in advance to protect the production line.
•Lead Make vs Buy analyses for complex mechatronic sub-assemblies, drafting Statements of Work and managing knowledge transfer roadmaps.
•Negotiate framework contracts, pricing structures, and tooling agreements to lower Total Cost of Ownership.
•Maintain clean BOM configurations, lead times, and pricing inside SAP or Odoo.
