Key Responsibilities

•Define Rentman's visual language (hierarchy, density, tone, when-to guidance) and document it so teams can apply it without you in the room.
•Build and maintain the Figma component library to our Definition of Done: in Figma and in Storybook/Angular at parity, token-driven, documented, and passing WCAG AA.
•Document the system in two layers: human guidelines and rationale, plus machine-readable usage rules that AI design and development tools can apply reliably.
•Establish the patterns and templates layer for our priority flows, so teams compose instead of reinventing.
•Run governance: the contribution process, changelog, deprecations, and design reviews with a clear turnaround.
•Partner daily with our Design System Developer as a small, autonomous two-person team, and act as the design team's visual-craft anchor via crit and review, while the product teams building Rentman's software remain your most important stakeholders.
