Key Responsibilities
- Take the lead in the development of electronics from start-to-end as part of a larger system
- Translate design input into product design
- Select components with stakeholders
- Integrate best practices in design for EMC, safety, manufacturability and automated production testing (DfX)
- Document design choices, perform calculations and simulations (Spice, MATLAB, PLECS)
- Contribute to DFMEA/PFMEA
- Review PCB designs
- Support prototype manufacturing and troubleshoot hardware
- Create test plans and perform tests
