Key Responsibilities

  • •Design electrical schematics and safety functions for production and test systems.
  • •Develop solutions that safely disable hazardous voltages when a DUT is connected, disconnected or accessed.
  • •Define and implement grounding, protective earth and earth bonding concepts.
  • •Perform and support electrical risk assessments and translate the outcomes into practical solutions.
  • •Apply relevant electrical safety standards and directives in practical, manufacturable designs.
  • •Review and improve existing test systems for safety, reliability and maintainability.
  • •Support verification, validation and technical documentation of designs against EMC, safety and machine directives.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and production stakeholders during development and implementation.
  • •Contribute to common design principles, reusable solutions and continuous improvement within Production Engineering.
