Key Responsibilities

•Own the development and deployment of machine learning models trained on large-scale medical data end-to-end, improving predictive performance, calibration, and robustness.
•Lead statistical modelling for capacity management: combining and extending prediction models into unit- and hospital-level insights.
•Drive all stages of the ML process for new products: from problem definition to post-market monitoring.
•Scope and drive medium- and long-term modelling projects, working with team leads and product managers.
•Dive into heterogeneous healthcare datasets to improve data quality and model reliability.
•Set the bar for methodological and code quality: writing professional, maintainable, well-tested code.
•Drive R&D and bring new techniques and ideas into the team.
•Use AI tooling wisely and responsibly.
•Participate in validation and verification activities according to medical and information security regulations.
•Be present in the office a couple of days per week.
