Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, check, control and improve defectivity levels in current and new processes within ICN8 manufacturing.
- Optimize defect inspection strategies and implement best known methods for defect inspection technology tool set.
- Support Defectivity employees in the fab.
- Maintain a base-line Defectivity improvement process within the ICN8 organization.
- Provide fab support and improve defect levels in previous process families.
- Serve as defectivity knowledge source.
- Monitor process quality with regards to defectivity.
- Organize improvement actions in all ICN8 departments through guidance of senior defectivity engineers.
- Initiate and lead problem solving teams in the event of incidents.
- Support Equipment and Process engineering in implementing correct off-line monitoring.
- Cover risks for qualifications and changes to processes/modules with respect to defectivity issues.
- Handle defectivity Out of Specs technically.
- Trend monitoring of defectivity measurements.
