Key Responsibilities

•Developing and designing high-tech optical modules and systems for different markets and applications
•Translating multidisciplinary customer requirements into realizable optical concepts and demonstrating their feasibility at an early stage through optical laboratory testing
•Performing optical design and simulations, for example using ray-tracing and Zemax, as well as contributing to image and signal processing where required
•Validating prototypes and supporting the development, installation and commissioning of optical systems at customer locations when required
•Working closely with project managers, system architects, customers, partners and suppliers to understand challenges and develop effective solutions
•Staying up to date with the latest developments in optical engineering and applying new technologies and approaches to your work
•Working as part of a small, multidisciplinary team where you have the freedom to contribute your ideas, develop projects and grow your expertise
