Key Responsibilities

•Design the foundations and technical roadmap of the AI layer within the Hume platform, specifically focusing on Hume Maestro.
•Actively contribute to the codebase, setting the standard for technical excellence, performance, and scalability in our AI components.
•Work within a shared decision-making structure alongside Product Managers and our Chief Scientist to align technical execution with product vision and priorities.
•Partner with the broader Hume team (including front-end and platform engineers) to ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities into the user experience.
•Drive best practices in AI/ML engineering, including model evaluation, deployment pipelines, and maintainable code structures.
•As the AI function expands, transition from an individual contributor/lead role into building and mentoring a dedicated AI engineering team.
