Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the month-end close, ensuring accurate and complete financial data.
- Analyze variances, explain key movements, and monitor financial trends.
- Support complex and non-routine transactions, assessing their impact on local financials and coordinating with Tax and Legal teams.
- Maintain and execute statutory and tax compliance activities (VAT, CIT, regulatory and statistical filings, financial statements, local audits).
- Post and document statutory and tax adjustments in the ERP system.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems (e.g. NetSuite and local reporting tools).
- Coordinate with Tax, Legal, and external consultants to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Coordinate with local and group external auditors during audits and reviews.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and maintain proper documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
