Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the end-to-end product line strategy, aligned to Malvern Panalytical and Spectris priorities
- Lead Product Management and R&D, shaping a balanced portfolio of platforms, next-generation products, and lifecycle investments
- Build a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics, translating insights into clear product strategies and innovation priorities
- Own the product portfolio from concept through to end-of-life, ensuring the right investment choices across short- and long-term horizons
- Lead pricing, value proposition, and market positioning, in close partnership with Commercial teams
- Drive disciplined portfolio and investment management, ensuring strong returns on R&D spend and clear prioritisation
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure effective execution and delivery while maintaining focus on product strategy and customer value creation
- Own the product line P&L, including growth, profitability, and long-term value creation
