Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Web Developers responsible for Loop's ecommerce platform
- Coach developers through technical challenges, architecture decisions, and professional growth
- Create strong engineering practices across development workflows, QA, scalability, documentation, and deployment quality
- Build a team culture focused on ownership, curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Define and drive the technical roadmap for Loop's Shopify ecosystem in partnership with Ecommerce leadership
- Guide decisions across Shopify architecture, frontend performance, integrations, accessibility, experimentation tooling, and platform scalability
- Stay close to the technical work through code reviews, technical sparring, debugging support, and hands-on contribution where valuable
- Continuously explore new technologies, tooling, and ecommerce innovations that improve customer experience and development velocity
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tooling and workflows across the team
- Experiment with modern engineering practices that increase productivity, speed, and development quality
- Partner closely with Ecommerce, CRO, SEO, Data & Analytics, Brand, Expansion, and Product (App) stakeholders
- Translate business opportunities into scalable technical solutions
