Key Responsibilities
- Research and define customs requirements for new trade lanes or territories
- Collaborate with logistics and external brokers to translate regulatory requirements into actionable workflows
- Investigate new regulations to stay ahead of potential barriers to entry
- Maintain customs blueprints for new markets in SAP/OTM/GTM
- Develop SOPs for customs activities in new regions
- Track success of new lane launches and identify bottlenecks
- Maintain accurate shipment data within ERP/TMS/WMS and ensure master data integrity
- Ensure compliance with labeling requirements, Incoterms, and import/export regulations
- Contribute to continuous improvement and support network optimization
- Partner cross-functionally with Customer Service, Demand Planning, Sales, Quality, and Finance
- Prepare for and support internal, customer, and regulatory audits
