Key Responsibilities
- Drive payroll process in Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Czech Republic with payroll providers
- Continually improve payroll processes including payroll and employee data management
- Support implementation of transformation agenda with focus on employee and business partner experience
- Advise and partner with Global Capabilities Center team ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing
- Maintain compliance with internal policies, local legal regulations, and execution playbooks
- Audit quality of work across applicable processes and drive corrective actions
- Check and approve payroll reports prepared by GBS team
- Reconcile payroll processed to financial accounting systems including payments
- Liaise with relevant authorities and regulatory bodies on payroll related matters
- Ensure accuracy of employee data and payroll elements such as deductions, pensions, taxes, bonuses, allowances, RSUs
- Develop and coach members of GBS team to ensure appropriate skills, knowledge, and training
- Work closely with HR analysts, HRBPs and HR Heads to resolve key payroll issues
- Feed into and deliver against continual improvement agenda to implement best-practice and standardization
- Champion GBS brand by acting as subject matter expert addressing complex payroll related queries
