Key Responsibilities

• •Facilitate the definition of project requirements with the business partner.
• •Participate in Strategic and Tactical Project Execution Planning (PEP) sessions.
• •Prepare Requests for Proposal (RFP) for Architect/Engineer (A/E) services and lead A/E interviews/selection and on-boarding process.
• •Lead & coordinate the development of Feasibility and Concept Package deliverables.
• •Prepare and support negotiation of standard J&J contract with AE Firms for design works.
• •Lead Basis of Design (BOD) and Construction Document phases of a project including all aspects of design.
• •Collaborate with various external equipment and system suppliers to support project designs.
• •Track design deliverables and lead the performance (cost, schedule, quality) of A/E firm.
• •Collaborate closely with EHS, project controls, and construction during the design process.
• •Assure application of Design to Value and Constructability Reviews in projects.
• •Coordinate/lead key design reviews with SMEs including other corporate or affiliate resources.
• •Review A/E progress and identify action plans where required.
• •Lead effort to resolve key design conflicts in construction and commissioning phases.
• •Support final close-out with the A/E firm including the Lessons Learned process.
• •Develop personal yearly regional goals and objectives that support overall J&J E&PS goals.
• •Complete short- and long-term tactical engineering plans and programs.
• •Build networks and maintain extensive contacts.
