Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to review specifications, estimate timelines, and define implementation strategies.
- Take ownership of features throughout the development lifecycle: architecture, coding, testing, code reviews, deployment, and maintenance.
- Build reliable and high-performance services using PostgreSQL, Redis, Hotwire, Turbo, Stimulus, and Tailwind CSS.
- Participate in architectural discussions for scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Work with engineering, product, SRE, and data teams to deliver software serving millions of users.
- Continuously improve code quality, development processes, and engineering best practices.
- Explore and experiment with new technologies and AI-driven solutions.
