Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain department workforce plans, including headcount, open roles, timing, priorities, and statuses.
- Ensure staffing plans stay accurate, up to date, and aligned with approved budgets and headcount allocation.
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, business unit leaders, hiring managers, HR business partners, and Finance.
- Translate business goals into clear staffing priorities and help leaders make realistic decisions.
- Facilitate role scoping and intake discussions to clarify business needs and capabilities.
- Turn staffing priorities into an executable hiring roadmap.
- Identify and remove blockers such as unclear role requirements or process friction.
- Provide regular leadership updates, forward-looking forecasts, and scenario planning.
- Support business review and planning cycles with staffing updates and what-if scenarios.
- Govern headcount allocation, replacement logic, and internal mobility moves.
- Advise on alternatives to external hiring including internal mobility and temporary rotations.
- Improve staffing processes, reporting quality, and data accuracy.
- Promote equitable and inclusive hiring practices.
- Support senior-level or business-critical hiring processes when needed.
