Key Responsibilities

•Setting the delivery of technology category management across all in-scope global services, consolidating the bottom-up plans and objectives at a regional level into a single category strategy aligned clearly to company-wide priorities and with corresponding plans.
•The execution of agreed initiatives to improve cost, reduce risk, drive ESG improvements and enhance colleagues experience across the Group and to ensure effective implementation of the Banks and Procurement's goals.
•Developing deep insight into global technology spend, contracts, business requirements and market dynamics to identify opportunities, shape sourcing priorities and deliver best-in-class solutions for ING.
•Driving commercial value and operational excellence across the technology category through strategic sourcing, demand management, standardisation, simplification, digitisation and the implementation of scalable commercial models that leverage ING's global spend.
•Building and managing strategic supplier partnerships to enhance service performance, foster innovation, mitigate category risks and deliver sustainable value throughout the supplier lifecycle.
•Establishing and leading governance, policies and decision-making forums that align stakeholders on category priorities, ensure effective execution and provide transparent reporting on performance and outcomes.
•Leading, developing and inspiring a high-performing global procurement team, fostering collaboration, inclusion, capability growth and strong partnerships across Global Procurement and local procurement teams.
•Undertaking regular market research harnessing leading benchmarks and research insights to identify and deliver best-in-class solutions for ING.
