Key Responsibilities

•Drive the evolution of a mature, enterprise-scale design system, including component libraries, patterns, design language evolution, data visualization, motion design, and interaction patterns.
•Actively champion and embed AI into design workflows to improve speed, scale, and quality.
•Facilitate alignment through workshops, discussions, and active collaboration across teams.
•Translate complex requirements into clear, scalable, and reusable design solutions.
•Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Design, Engineering, Product, Research, Brand, Content, DesignOps) to ensure adoption and impact.
•Advocate for consistency and quality across platforms while aligning with ING’s brand guidelines.
•Strengthen and promote design system adoption through clear documentation and communication.
•Play an active role in the global ING design community (350+ designers) by sharing knowledge and driving engagement.
