Key Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining systems that connect IMC to exchanges: parsing market data feeds, managing order entry, and ensuring speed and reliability on latency-critical paths.
- Implementing and optimising execution logic in close collaboration with traders and quants, translating trading ideas into production code.
- Working with hardware teams to integrate FPGA-based systems and low-latency network solutions into the trading stack.
- Measuring, profiling, and improving the performance of systems.
- Developing expertise across the entire software development lifecycle, learning from experienced engineers.
