Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end inbound logistics processes to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of raw materials
- Monitor inbound shipments, track estimated and actual times of arrival, and ensure timely delivery to support uninterrupted operations
- Manage inbound purchase orders and proactively resolve delayed or overdue shipments
- Coordinate transport activities with logistics providers, prioritizing urgent shipments
- Coordinate deliveries from port or terminal to the plant, aligned with warehouse capacity
- Ensure timely customs clearance by coordinating with brokers and customs teams
- Act as central point of contact between planning, warehouse, and logistics providers
- Validate freight-related costs against rate agreements and support cost optimization
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement through service level reviews
