Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for assigned IFF manufacturing plant(s), ensuring timely availability of materials and services.
- Lead supplier evaluation, selection, and relationship management based on quality, service, cost, capability, and business requirements.
- Execute sourcing activities including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, auctions, negotiations, supplier comparisons, and commercial agreements.
- Support implementation of sourcing strategies and identify opportunities for cost optimization and continuous improvement.
- Monitor market dynamics, supplier capabilities, labor rates, raw material trends, and other cost drivers.
- Ensure continuity of supply by identifying risks, implementing mitigation actions, and managing urgent purchases and supply crises.
- Partner with Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and suppliers to resolve shortages, delays, quality concerns, pricing discrepancies, and supply constraints.
- Support contract implementation and ensure compliance with agreed commercial terms, maintaining accurate data in procurement systems (SAP, Ariba).
- Participate in cross-functional teams and regional/global procurement initiatives, tracking and reporting procurement savings and performance.
