Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the Webflow build: take end-to-end ownership of the build, maintenance and site structure, in alignment with the Website Platform Owner
  • •Keep the project clean: maintain a tidy Webflow project, caring about structure, class naming and component choices, and how they affect performance and long-term maintainability
  • •Write DRY, maintainable and scalable code, and leverage existing components and utilities rather than introducing unnecessary new code
  • •Bring pages to life: extend Webflow with custom JavaScript/CSS for interactions, animations and functionality beyond native features
  • •Monitor performance: track site speed and technical SEO, applying performance best practices from the start and addressing issues as they arise
  • •Build for accessibility: keep WCAG standards in mind so the site is usable for everyone
  • •Use AI and automation: use tools like Claude and Make.com to speed up build, QA and maintenance work
  • •Take ownership of quality: proactively flag technical debt, bugs and issues rather than waiting for direction
  • •Consider how development and design choices affect crawlability, including for AI crawlers, and advocate for performance in design discussions
  • •Stay current with Webflow: keep up with platform updates and new features, test and pilot new Webflow capabilities as they release
