Key Responsibilities

•Preparing and supervising mechanical work (TIG welding / piping)
•Involved in preparing cost estimates and quotations
•Planning maintenance and mechanical work on machinery and installations
•Organizing and monitoring work permits
•Providing instructions to all mechanical technicians and other subcontractors
•Supervising work activities and HSE compliance
•Managing the return of materials and tools
•Reporting work progress and completed activities to the project manager
•Maintaining clean and safe workplaces
•Ensuring compliance with customer's safety regulations and site rules
•Acting as the contact person between GEA and the customer
•Overall work planning and coordination
•Cost control: keep working hours under control and within budgeted number of hours
•Ensuring the workplace is left clean and orderly upon completion
•Completing incident reporting forms correctly in the event of any emergencies or incidents
•Performing safety inspections and toolboxes with work staff
