Key Responsibilities

•Own the roadmap: manage priorities, planning, and sequencing of the work in line with company goals.
•Develop your engineers: own career planning, promotions, coaching, and structured, continuous performance management.
•Plan and build the team: lead hiring, headcount planning, and resource allocation in line with the team's roadmap and the firm's priorities.
•Cultivate a healthy team: actively manage culture, morale, and productivity, and address conflict early and constructively.
•Lead with rhythm: hold regular one-on-ones, give clear and timely feedback, and invest in team building.
•Translate technical and business requirements into clear delivery plans, identifying dependencies with other teams and risks up front.
•Act as the liaison between Engineering, Trading, and Quant teams to design and roll out new products.
•Drive delivery predictability: track progress against plan, manage risk and scope trade-offs, and report status clearly to stakeholders.
•Continuously improve delivery processes and team velocity.
•Ensure alignment: keep your team's work connected to organisational goals and delivery timelines, collaborating closely with Tech Leads and Staff Engineers on research and technical direction.
