Key Responsibilities
- Coach engineers at all levels, from juniors to seniors.
- Build individual development plans and foster a culture of meaningful feedback.
- Create an environment where people feel safe to experiment and learn from failure.
- Conduct performance evaluations and address underperformance while championing top talent.
- Actively build a diverse team culture.
- Continuously evolve how squads plan and execute (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid).
- Shield teams from noise and remove impediments.
- Drive a culture of excellence across code quality, observability, incident response, and sustainable delivery pace.
- Use metrics (Cycle Time, Team Health, Reliability Indicators) to spot bottlenecks and drive improvement.
- Co-own hiring and onboarding initiatives.
- Champion responsible use of AI-assisted tools.
- Cultivate a security-first mindset.
- Identify dependencies between Product, Data, and Platform teams.
