Key Responsibilities
- Receives and discusses assignments from Project Leader(s) and performs experiments based on general guidelines and instructions.
- Creates a test design in consultation with Project Leader(s) and arranges supporting work.
- Carries out standard provisions and tests, plans the work.
- Indicates deviations, investigates the cause, and makes proposals for improving/changing the experimental design.
- Records results in laboratory journal, interprets and discusses with project team.
- Writes Subject Memos, Subject Reports and Regulations/Protocols (in English) with low complexity.
- Performs operations under GxP (e.g., assistance with pilot- and consistency batch productions, small scale batches for animal studies, and seed productions).
- Proposes introduction of new methods and techniques.
- Can be involved in transfer of production processes and quality control tests to Production and QC departments.
- Preparation of adjuvant formulations and vaccines containing inactivated viral and bacterial antigens.
- Physical chemical characterization using light scattering techniques and differential scanning calorimetry.
