Key Responsibilities
- Design and build innovative advertising and marketing platform features that help eBay sellers and advertisers grow their business.
- Develop scalable, highly available applications, APIs, and services using technologies such as Marko, React, Node.js, Java, and Scala.
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex features, from technical design and architecture through deployment and production support.
- Drive technical decisions, system design, and cross-team collaboration to ensure scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) throughout the development lifecycle for coding, debugging, testing, and code review to increase engineering velocity.
- Contribute to AI-powered advertising and marketing features by collaborating with ML engineers on LLM integrations, recommendation systems, and intelligent campaign optimization.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, Agile development, open-source collaboration, and rapid software delivery.
- Mentor team members, participate in technical discussions, and help shape engineering best practices across the organisation.
