Key Responsibilities

•Define and own the People Technology API strategy, promoting an API-first architecture across the HR technology landscape.
•Architect reusable APIs that simplify integration between Workday and enterprise platforms.
•Own the end-to-end solution architecture for the Workday platform across the People Technology landscape.
•Define architecture standards, design principles and technical governance for Workday implementations and enhancements.
•Lead technical solution design for complex business initiatives and transformation programmes.
•Partner with HR, Technology and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into sustainable technical solutions.
•Establish integration patterns supporting real-time, event-driven and batch-based data exchange.
•Design secure, resilient and scalable integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
•Develop standards for API lifecycle management, governance, versioning, monitoring and security.

•Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security, privacy and compliance requirements.

•Drive innovation by leveraging modern Workday capabilities including Workday Extend, Workday Orchestrate, Workday AI, Self-Service Agents and emerging Agentic AI capabilities, supporting AI-powered employee experiences through standards such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) and enterprise AI integration frameworks.
