Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted and influential business partner to internal and external stakeholders, driving projects with cross-functional collaboration and significant business impact.
- Lead and own the design, implementation, and testing of large-scale business initiatives from an accounting perspective, ensuring a focus on long-term scalability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define, align, and communicate accounting, reporting, and process requirements.
- Attend and lead project-related meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation for processes, data, fund flows, and related instructions.
- Collaborate with Data Analytics and Business Intelligence teams to design, implement, and test reporting solutions for new initiatives.
- Address key accounting challenges as they arise, acting as a subject matter expert for the broader accounting team.
- Oversee the monthly closing process for newly launched initiatives until they are fully transitioned to the operational month-end close team.
- Collaborate with external providers, including local accountants and auditors, to ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Proactively identify, scope, and support the implementation of operational process improvements.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment to achieve department goals.
